Green Saviours Association has been planting and maintaining trees in and around Belagavi, Karnataka dedicating their time to the cause every Sunday since April 2016.
Their current cause entails planting a million units of native trees, shrubs, and plants with a focus on the Western Ghats region between Belagavi and Goa.
The project integrates the propagation and planting with the welfare of the locals in around 20 villages in the Western Ghats by providing employment and by promoting agroforestry as a sustainable farming option.
