During this time of the Coronavirus Crisis, a community of organizations and volunteers are coming together to help fill the shortages.We need your support to help address issues caused by the COVID crisis, like Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), programs for Seniors, outreach, food, the front-line workers, and other community needs. We are currently making fabric face masks, supporting the volunteer-based food pantry, sending letters to the seniors about resources, feeding the homeless, supporting the local businesses, and more. Welcome to South Bay Community Pantry by the Sikh Food Pantry!Sikh Food Pantry has been temporarily put into effect by Sikh and Community based orgs and volunteers: JOY of SEWA, Ik Onkar Bridges, Silicon Valley Gurdwara, Khalis Foundation, Bay Area Sikhs, Bay Area Volunteers.Thank you for joining us to help those unable to do so during this time of COVID Crisis.We are taking donations to fund the groceries for those unable to do so. Please note the funds will only be used for groceries based on what is available and or suggested by CDC, WHO, NHA, or other similar institutions.Though at this time we don’t foresee this. If at the end of this crisis, there are any funds left remaining, they will be donated to Second Harvest or other similar programs to assist them.The average cost to support a family of 4 for one week of groceries is $125.In addition, you can donate to support the community face mask efforts for nurses and doctors, and others in the field.Thank you for your support!
